Ms. Frey holds a BA in History from Northwestern University and a JD from American University\, Washington College of Law.  \n \n \n \n \n \n Tami Strickman\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tami Strickman\n Special Advisor to the President and Executive Director \n University of Michigan \n \n \n \n \nTami Strickman serves as Special Advisor to the President and Executive Director of the University of Michigan’s Equity\, Civil Rights and Title IX Office.   \n\n\n\nIn this leadership role\, she focuses on advancing a campus environment free of discrimination and harassment through policy\, educational programs and organizational structures that are trauma-informed and in accordance with federal laws and regulations.   \n\n\n\nSince joining U-M in 2020\, she has increased institutional resources focused on prevention and response\, served on a variety of campus committees and created key alliances with the Flint and Dearborn campuses to address misconduct across the institution.  \n\n\n\nShe has more than a decade of experience in matters involving allegations of discrimination under Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964\, the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972.
